Corruption of Innocence

Hey, everyone!!

I drew this a while ago now- a picture of Frankenstein's Creature.

I added the cross and the fallen angel because in the book he reads the Bible (and Paradise Lost for that matter) and compares himself to Lucifer. I suppose the white rain represents his innocence, the black rain his corruption and the blood represents the murders he commited.

I'm not sure if some of you will be able to see it (what with different screen resolutions), but his skin is somewhat yellowish.

The poem beneath the picture is part of a verse of a much longer poem of mine. Just in case you have difficulty reading it in the font I chose, I shall type it here as well:

Oh, thou mislead abandoner of mine,
The sightless actions of thine
Did lead to our decline
And into grieving we both fell,
Until we drowned within the silver waters
Of our self-inflicted hell.
